Sheri Oktay, BS, MS, MAB

Having worked in various roles as a mechanical engineer in the industry, Sheri (Sehribanu is her original Turkish name) made the decision to return to school, aiming to transition into applied research in the domain of healthcare and medicine. She completed her Master of Applied Bioengineering (MAB) at UW. During her first quarter in the program, she took Pat’s Bioelectricity class, sparking her interest in lab work.

Outside of her studies, Sheri finds joy in dancing, singing, reformer pilates, and experimenting with food to create healthy treats for her 2 wild sons.
